Arjun Prasad from Mhow, Delhi, along with Sunhit Bishnoi from Gurugram and Bangladesh’s Md Somrat Sikdar, found themselves in a tie for third place, all sharing the same score of four-under 68.

N Thangaraja
, a victor from the

Last month, he completed the first round without any bogeys. On the front nine, he achieved two birdies thanks to an easy tap-in and a remarkable shot covering 30 feet. Thanga started the back nine strong by scoring successive birdies on holes 10 and 11, where his approach shots from 130 yards away landed him within just five feet of the pin each time. He concluded his day with another birdie on hole number 14.

The 43-year-old Thanga who has five

victories under his belt stated, “Since my victory in Ahmedabad last month, I’ve felt incredibly consistent. My swing has really come together lately. Today, I stayed on the fairway for every shot except one and managed to find the green with 16 out of 18 shots. A few brief putts slipped past me, but overall, securing an unblemished first round is something I’ll gladly accept.”

This round seems slightly more extended compared to when I played it back in 2013. To perform well, you’ll need accurate drives and strong putting skills.

A few triple putts led to bogeys on the latter half of the course, causing a sluggish beginning for the home player.
Saptak Talwar
Who turned at one over. Saptak subsequently went on a scoring run on the front nine, securing an eagle and four birdies between holes one through six. The lengths of his eagle and two birdie putts ranged from 12 to 17 feet. Additionally, Talwar managed to place his tee shot within three feet on the par-3 third hole for a birdie.

The 26-year-old Saptak stated, “I enjoyed returning to my hometown golf course. Having participated in various locations for tournaments these past several weeks, I had to acclimate myself to the local greens again. My performance hasn’t met my standards during the final two rounds of recent competitions. Nonetheless, I believe I’m improving each week.”

The immense damage caused by Hurricane Helene at Augusta National has now been revealed.

from several months back.

The abode of the Masters was struck by the devastating hurricane.
That hit the southeastern part of the United States towards the end of September last year, causing unimaginable destruction for millions of Americans.

The well-known golf course succumbed to the winds reaching up to 130 mph.
, leaving the typically spotless premises of the excessively exclusive club in disorder.

Currently, McIlroy was among the initial ones to describe how the updated greens and similar features will appear for golf’s top players.

“Yeah, losing a few trees really makes a difference,” McIlroy commented following a practice session for the Houston Open.

However, regarding the recoloring of that area which turned green again, it remains identical. The only difference might be slightly fewer evening shadows due to a couple of trees being removed; otherwise, it’s almost unchanged.

McIlroy clinched victory at the Players Championship this month, even as the golfer from Northern Ireland continues his quest for a first major tournament triumph in more than ten years.

The journey to Georgia isn’t too distant from where he lives in Florida, and any reconnaissance makes his path toward breaking his streak of having no degree seem worthwhile.

I take those visits to get back acquainted with the location, clubhouses from the teeing areas, checking if they modified any greens,” McIlroy went on. “It’s pleasant to go through a practice round sans spectators. This eases the tension at the beginning of the week.

After the initial phase of the Houston Open, McIlroy stands at even par, trailing the joint leaders by five strokes.

The Masters tournament will take place from April 10 to April 13.
Scottie Scheffler, ranked number one in the world, will aim to retain his championship.

“I’ve maintained a solid form ever since the event in Kapurthala last week. Therefore, I chose to stick with the same strategy for this week’s game by aiming to maximize fairway and green hits, essentially playing percentage golf.
