This encounter took place during the envoy&#8217;s ongoing regional visit.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n   The visit precedes informal discussions set to take place at the UN Security Council in mid-April 2025, as stated in a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n   Omar Hilale, who serves as Morocco\u2019s Ambassador andPermanent Representative to the United Nations,was present atthe meeting.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n   In these discussions, the Moroccan representatives emphasized the global push initiated by King Mohammed VI concerning Morocco\u2019s sovereignty over the Sahara region and the country&#8217;s autonomy proposal.
