We adhere to a policy focused on development rather than expansion.&#8221;<br \/>\n   PM Modi<br \/>\n   said.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n   Underlining<br \/>\n   Thailand<br \/>\n   &#8216;a special spot,&#8221; the PM stated, &#8221;<br \/>\n   Thailand<br \/>\n   holds a significant position within India&#8217;s &#8216;Act East&#8217; policy and our Indo-Pacific strategy. Today, we have chosen to elevate our relationship into Strategic Partnerships. India\u2019s \u2018Look East Policy\u2019 continues to be a cornerstone of our regional strategy.<br \/>\n   Thailand<br \/>\n   &#8220;&#8216;s &#8216;Act West Policy&#8217; complement each other effectively, opening up numerous opportunities for bilateral collaboration across various sectors,&#8221; he stated in a post on X.\n  <\/p>\n<p>\n   He additionally highlighted major domains for security and defense collaboration. &#8220;Our talks centered around methods to further strengthen the strategic partnership between India and&#8221;<br \/>\n   Thailand<br \/>\n   The topics covered strategic matters like defense, security, maritime safety, and hydrography.
