Luis Figo will headline an unusual triathlon event alongside some of the world’s most renowned personalities.

The legend is about to be joined by football royalty in the form of
Andrea Pirlo
, Robert Pires, and Juan Sebastián Verón in Ibiza this summer.

Figo along with the others will compete in three sports — football, Padel, and golf — during a four-day festival on the white island.

Other contenders being considered for Legends Ibiza also include previously
Chelsea
combine Joe Cole and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink with screen celebrities Mark Strong and Jason Isaacs.

Figo will lead one squad during a four-day affair aimed at raising funds for various charities such as Cruz Roja, the Spanish Red Cross. Additionally, there will be a range of exclusive gatherings where organizers pledge to host ‘the ultimate celebration’.

The festival will be broadcast globally, giving fans the opportunity to purchase different types of passes, including one that grants access to the golf event.



From June 2-5, Legends Ibiza will be hosted by the Legends Soccer Group, known for organizing events like Game4Ukraine and the Sir Bobby Robson Trophy.

Figo, who won the Ballon d’Or in 2000 and was named FIFA World Player of the Year in 2001, will lead one of the teams against an unspecified opponent.

Former Real Madrid players Michel Salgado and Iker Casillas are being considered as well, alongside ex-Manchester United forward Diego Forlán.
