“The conditions were quite distinct the other day as we needed to accelerate our scoring rate promptly. Their batting performance was impressive too. Despite being an excellent pitch overall, considered one of the finest globally, this surface did offer some grip; nonetheless, it remained a decent track,” stated Cummins.

Reflecting on

Regarding his bowling display, the Australian fast bowler highlighted the importance of having a batsman who can steady the innings, much like Ishan Kishan did in their last game.

Each time it feels like a new challenge; their bowling has been outstanding, perfectly strategized. Reaching 190 was quite an achievement. Typically, you require someone to anchor the batting throughout the inning, much like how Ishan (Kishan) performed recently. However, their bowling has been relentless, not giving us any respite,” he concluded.

Even though their batting lineup is robust, Cummins acknowledged that
