This European amusement park is taking the lead over Disneyland Paris with shorter wait times and features Europe’s highest and quickest roller coaster.

This figure represents fewer than one-third of Disneyland’s 16.1 million visitors and has consequently earned itself the title of being a more preferable destination to bypass the notoriously lengthy queues.

It includes SesamoAdventura, a special zone for children themed around Sesame Street.

Among PortAventura’s most exhilarating attractions are Shambhala, which stands as one of the highest and quickest roller coasters in Europe, climbing to an impressive height of 76 meters and accelerating up to 134 kilometers per hour. Another thrilling ride is Hurakan Condor, a free-fall tower that drops passengers from a stunning 100-meter elevation.

PortAventura features a water park called Caribe Aquatic Park, which is teeming with water slides.

Moreover, Ferrari Land, a section of the park devoted to the automobile marque, houses Europe’s highest and quickest roller coaster, the formidable Red Force.



This remarkable structure stands at an astounding height of 112 meters and reaches speeds up to 112 miles per hour.

To provide some context, Hyperia, the United Kingdom’s tallest roller coaster, stands as an impressive structure.

A visitor from Sydney, Australia commented on TripAdvisor: “The waiting periods were quite reasonable—the longest we had to wait was around 30 minutes—and totally worthwhile; it’s superior to Disneyland.”

A guest from County Durham commented: “This place surpasses Disneyland Paris; the attractions were extremely enjoyable with reasonably short lines lasting between 15 to 30 minutes.”

This park has an excellent layout and offers numerous attractions suitable for every kind of adventure enthusiast.

Someone else commented: “The finale of the nighttime spectacle was akin to a Disney extravaganza or an Olympic Games opening ceremony – highly impressive.”

Some visitors found it even more entertaining than UK theme parks: “This park surpassed my experiences at certain Disney and British amusement parks.”

The admission fee for the park begins at £33.45 for adults or £29.27 for children.
